重庆市市长国际经济顾问团会议

概况

为促进重庆与世界跨国公司的经济合作与技术交流，增强国际企业界对重庆经济社会发展的认识与了解，由法国苏伊士环能集团董事长兼首席执行官梅斯特雷先生提议，王鸿举市长批准，决定建立重庆市市长国际经济顾问团会议制度。

会议宗旨：一是向市长提出有助于重庆经济和社会持续进步，人与自然协调发展的意见和建议，介绍可供重庆学习和借鉴的成功经验，扩大信息渠道，拓宽决策思路；二是促进国际企业界对重庆发展和投资环境的了解，提高重庆的国际知名度，增强对投资者的吸引力，推动重庆与国际企业界的交流和合作。

国际经济顾问团会议成员由重庆市市长聘请的30-40名世界500强企业和国际知名企业董事长或总裁担任。目前，市长国际经济顾问团有顾问33位，咨询顾问5位，共计38位。

About CMIA

As Mr. Gérard Mestrallet, Chairman of ENGIE Group suggested, then-mayor of Chongqing Mr. Wang Hongju approved to set up the mechanism of Chongqing Mayor’s International Economic Advisory Council in order to promote economic cooperation and technical exchange between Chongqing and multinational companies as well as have the city better known.

The meeting has two aims— one is to provide the mayor with ideas and suggestions that are conducive to Chongqing’s sustained economic and social progress and coordinated human-nature development, and share with the mayor successful experience which would broaden the mind of the decision makers. The other is to enhance international companies’ understanding of Chongqing’s economy and business climate, which helps with its international recognition among global investors and facilitates the interaction between two sides.

CMIA consists of thirty to forty members who are all chairmen of Fortune Global 500 and other prestigious companies.At present, the Mayor's International Economic Advisory Group has 33 advisors and 5 consultants, totaling 38 members.
